1 mL Low-Dose Accuracy: Specifically engineered for the micro-dosing required for neonates. It complies with the August 2016 GEDSA Position Statement regarding "Low Dose" syringes, which use an internal tip lumen that mirrors traditional male syringes to reduce dead space and prevent dosing errors.
ENFit Safety Connector: Features a purple, threaded ISO 80369-3 compliant tip. This ensures a secure, leak-proof lock and provides a physical barrier against accidental misconnections with IV or other non-enteral devices.
Offset (Eccentric) Tip: The tip is positioned at the edge of the barrel. When used in a horizontally oriented syringe pump, this design delivers the nutrient-dense lipids (fats)—which naturally float to the top—to the patient first rather than trapping them in the syringe "dead space."
Self-Righting Tip Cap: Each individually packaged syringe includes a NeoSecure plugged tip cap. These caps are designed to "self-right" on a hard surface for hands-free attachment, promoting aseptic technique during pharmacy preparation and transport.
