Description

Vent Zone Technology: The barrel features a specialized "vent zone" near the top. By pulling the plunger gasket into this zone, air is allowed to enter the syringe while the plunger remains in the barrel. This facilitates gravity feeding in a nearly closed system, significantly reducing the risk of airborne contaminants reaching the milk or formula.
ENFit Safety Tip: Features the purple, threaded ISO 80369-3 compliant connector. This ensures a secure, leak-proof connection to ENFit feeding tubes and extension sets while physically preventing accidental connection to IV lines.
Integrated Expandable Hanger: Includes a built-in hanger at the top of the barrel, allowing the syringe to be hung from an IV pole or the side of a bassinet for hands-free gravity feeding.
Eccentric (Off-Center) Tip: The tip is positioned at the edge of the barrel. When the syringe is positioned horizontally in a pump or held at an angle for gravity feeding, this ensures nutrient-dense lipids (fats) are delivered to the patient first, minimizing the "fate of fat" loss commonly found in standard syringes.
Self-Righting Tip Cap: Each syringe is sterile and individually packaged with a NeoSecure plugged tip cap that "self-rights" on hard surfaces, promoting aseptic technique during filling and storage.
