Eccentric (Off-Center) Tip: The tip is positioned at the edge of the barrel. This design is specifically engineered to minimize lipid (fat) loss in horizontally oriented syringe pumps, as it ensures the nutrient-dense fats (which naturally float) are delivered to the patient first.
Legacy Orange Connector: Features the non-threaded, slip-style "Oral Tip." It is designed to be incompatible with standard Luer-lock (IV) equipment but is not compatible with the modern purple threaded ENFit standard.
Self-Righting Tip Cap: Each syringe is individually packaged with a NeoSecure plugged tip cap. The cap is designed to stand upright on a flat surface, allowing for a hands-free, aseptic connection—critical for maintaining sterility in busy clinical environments.
Pump Compatibility: Validated and characterized for use with leading clinical pumps, including the Smiths Medical Medfusion 3500 and 4000 and the BBraun Perfusor.
