Bifurcated (Y-site) Design: Two separate female ENFit® input ports merge into a single delivery line. This allows for the simultaneous administration of nutrition and medication or "piggybacking" flushes.
ENFit® Safety Connectors: Features ISO 80369-3 compliant purple-coded connectors. These are physically incompatible with IV ports, eliminating the risk of accidental tubing misconnections.
Dual Tethered Caps: Each female inlet is equipped with its own tethered plug. This maintains a closed system when a port is not in use, protecting the fluid path from contaminants and air.
Low Priming Volume: Despite the significant 60-inch length, the set is engineered with a priming volume of approximately 1.8 mL, which is critical for minimizing the loss of small-volume neonatal nutrition.
