Lifelike Feel: It uses a lifelike skin that stretches more than human skin, providing a realistic feel for procedures.
Training Procedures: It allows for the practice of oral, digital, and nasal intubation, as well as the insertion of various airway adjuncts like ET, LMA, and Combitube®. It also supports bag-valve-mask ventilation and needle cricothyrotomy.
Functionality: The trainer includes features such as laryngospasm, tongue edema, a very flexible tongue, and breakaway upper teeth if improper technique is applied. It has visible lungs and a stomach that swells upon esophageal ventilation, and can be filled with liquid to simulate vomiting. The Sellick maneuver can also be practiced.
Anatomy: All anatomical landmarks are shown, and the vocal cords are highlighted for easy viewing.
Compatibility: The board is anchored with suction cup feet for stability. The trainer is also latex-free and comes with a 3-year warranty.
