Description

Alex Lite 2.0 Skin Tone Light, 101-7130 is a medical training manikin designed to simulate a patient for healthcare students and professionals.

Its key features are:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI): The manikin uses AI with speech recognition to respond to questions in English, French, and Spanish, creating a realistic, interactive patient experience.

  • Realistic Physical Features: It has palpable pulses in the carotid, brachial, radial, and dorsalis pedis. It also includes spontaneous breathing with a moving chest, and bilateral blood pressure with a Smartscope and Smartcuff. Additionally, it can produce realistic heart, lung, and bowel sounds.

  • Procedural Training: The manikin allows for the practice of a wide range of clinical procedures, including oral, nasal, and digital intubation; BVM (Bag-Valve-Mask) ventilation; physical patient assessment; and catheterization. An optional I.V. arm is available for practicing I.V. administration. It can also be used for CPR training, with the system logging metrics for depth, rate, and ventilations.

  • IrisCamâ„¢: A built-in HD camera in the manikin's right eye streams a low-latency video feed, providing an "eye-witness" view from the patient's perspective, which is useful for observation and debriefing.

  • Cloud-Based Control: The simulator is cloud-connected and can be controlled remotely from any internet-connected device, such as the included tablet. Instructors can adjust vitals, speech, and sounds in real-time.

  • Scenario-Based Training: It comes with pre-loaded, customizable scenarios, allowing instructors to create measurable objectives and automate assessments.

  • Logging and Archiving: The system keeps a 60-day archive of simulation logs, including communication transcripts, a record of events, and patient orders.

  • Portability: The manikin is lightweight and untethered, making it easy to set up for training in various locations.
