Intended Use:
The primary use of TrueClot Clotting Solution is to prepare a batch of blood simulant for advanced wound packing training. The typical process is:
Start with a container of a standard, non-clotting blood simulant.
Add the TrueClot Clotting Solution concentrate to the simulant. The recommended mixture is 50 mL of clotting solution per liter of blood simulant.
The now-treated blood simulant can be used in a wound packing trainer or for moulage.
When trainees pack the wound with TrueClot's reactive hemostatic gauze, the treated simulant will clot, providing realistic feedback and a more effective learning experience.
