CRG-BASIC-R Technical Specifications
The CRG-BASIC-R is the central control unit (Generator) for Avanos radiofrequency (RF) pain management therapies. It is designed to deliver precisely controlled energy to target nerves for the treatment of chronic pain.
Treatment Capacity: Multi-lesion capable. When used with a multi-lesion module, it can support up to 4 probes simultaneously.
Operating Modes:
Standard RF: Delivers continuous thermal energy to create a heat lesion (ablation).
Pulsed RF: Delivers energy in short bursts to provide pain relief without causing significant thermal tissue destruction.
Bipolar RF: Energy is passed between two active probes rather than a probe and a grounding pad.
Monitoring: Provides real-time feedback on Impedance (to confirm needle placement), Temperature, Voltage, and Time.
Interface: Features a large, color touchscreen for easy navigation and procedure monitoring.
