5 French Ultra-Slim Diameter: Designed for neonates and small infants. This diameter minimizes the risk of nasal trauma and respiratory distress, which is a critical concern in very small or premature babies.
15-Inch (38 cm) Length: Sized precisely for the neonatal anatomy. Keeping the external tubing as short as possible is a safety priority to prevent accidental dislodgement or the tube becoming tangled in monitoring equipment.
Non-Weighted (Bolus) Tip: A lightweight, plain tip is often preferred for gastric placement in neonates to avoid unnecessary pressure on the thin, sensitive lining of the stomach.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Unlike silicone, this polyurethane material is strong enough to allow for a larger internal diameter while maintaining a tiny external profile. It is resistant to the "softening" effect of gastric acid and does not kink easily.
C-19* Water-Activated Lubricant: The internal lumen is pre-lubricated. When water or saline is flushed through, the lubricant becomes slippery, allowing the placement stylet to be removed smoothly—preventing the tube from being accidentally pulled out during the process.
Universal Connector: Features a clear/white connector.
