3-Gram Weighted Tip: Features a tungsten-weighted bolus to assist in maintaining the tube's position within the stomach and to aid in natural migration toward the small intestine.
Stylet-Free Insertion: This configuration is intended for placement without a guide wire. It relies on the natural structural integrity of the polyurethane and the weight of the tip for insertion, providing a safer alternative for patients with sensitive esophageal tissues.
ENFit Safety Connector: Equipped with the purple ISO-standard connector. This design is specifically engineered to prevent accidental misconnections with IV lines, breathing circuits, or other non-enteral medical devices.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: High-grade material that is more durable and kink-resistant than silicone. Its strength allows for thinner walls, maximizing the internal lumen for an 8 Fr size to ensure consistent flow.
Anti-Clog Technology: Features the ULTRA* anti-clog bolus tip. The exit port is designed to be slightly larger than the internal diameter of the tube to prevent formula or medication solids from occluding the tip.
Safety & Monitoring: The tube is fully radiopaque for X-ray confirmation and includes centimeter markings to allow the care team to monitor for any outward migration or displacement.
