Description
This model is a Non-Styleted and Sterile tube. It is a standard "mid-length" choice for older infants and pediatric patients, offering a larger diameter than the 5 or 6 French versions to accommodate thicker formulas and a wider variety of medications while remaining safe for insertion without a guide wire.

Pediatric Sizing: The 22-inch length is ideal for toddlers and small children who require gastric access but for whom an adult-length (43-inch) tube would be excessively long and difficult to manage.
Non-Styleted (No Wire): Designed for atraumatic insertion. Because the 8 French polyurethane material has a degree of natural "body," it can be advanced safely through the nasal passage without the need for a metal guide wire, reducing the risk of internal tissue trauma.

ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger and more durable than silicone or PVC, this medical-grade material allows for thinner walls and a larger internal lumen. This maximizes flow efficiency, which is particularly useful for an 8 Fr tube.
