12 French Diameter: This is a standard adult size that offers a larger lumen, making it ideal for thicker formulas and reducing the likelihood of clogging during medication administration.
3-Gram Tungsten Weight: The weighted tip helps the tube pass through the pylorus (the opening from the stomach to the small intestine) and uses gravity to maintain its position once placed.
Polyurethane Construction: Unlike silicone, this high-grade polyurethane allows for thinner walls with a larger internal diameter. It is also resistant to gastric acid and avoids the "stretching" or collapsing common with other materials.
ENFit® Safety Connector: Features the purple ISO-standard connector designed to prevent misconnections with IV lines or other non-enteral systems.
Stylet for Placement: Includes a flexible wire stylet to provide the necessary rigidity during the initial insertion process. The internal lumen is coated with C-19* lubricant, which is activated by water to allow the stylet to slide out smoothly once the tube is in place.
