Key Features
ANTI-IV* Safety Connector: The proximal Y-port is engineered to be physically incompatible with standard Luer-lock or Luer-slip syringes. This helps eliminate life-threatening errors where tube feeding formula is accidentally administered into an IV.
Polyurethane Construction: Polyurethane is significantly stronger and more durable than silicone. This allows the tube to have thinner walls and a larger internal lumen, which improves flow rates and reduces the risk of the tube collapsing during aspiration.
ULTRA-LITE* Anti-Clog Bolus: The distal tip features a unique "bowed" design where the outlet port is larger than the internal diameter of the tube. This prevents solids from trapping at the exit point, a common cause of tube failure.
Flow-Through Stylet: The included stylet allows clinicians to flush the tube or aspirate gastric contents while the wire is still inside. This simplifies the placement verification process at the bedside.
C-19™ Lubricant: The internal lumen and the tip are coated with a water-activated lubricant, ensuring the stylet can be removed smoothly and the insertion is more comfortable for the patient.
