Key Features
ANTI-IV* Safety Connector: The "AIV2" suffix refers to the proprietary Y-port design that is physically incompatible with standard Luer-lock or Luer-slip syringes. This prevents the life-threatening error of connecting an enteral feeding set to an intravenous line.
Polyurethane Durability: Polyurethane is stronger than silicone, allowing the tube walls to be thinner while maintaining high resistance to kinking and collapsing. This results in a larger internal lumen for better flow of formula.
ULTRA-LITE* Anti-Clog Bolus: The tip features a unique design where the exit port is larger than the internal diameter of the tube. This prevents solids from trapping at the distal end, which is the primary cause of tube occlusion.
Flow-Through Stylet: This specialized stylet allows clinicians to flush the tube or aspirate for gastric contents (using a compatible syringe) while the wire is still in place, making the verification of placement more efficient.
