Non-Weighted / Clear Tip: Features a smooth, unweighted bolus. This design is often preferred for clinicians who find it easier to control placement manually or for patients sensitive to the added bulk of a tungsten weight.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Constructed from medical-grade polyurethane, which is stronger and more durable than silicone. This allows for a thinner wall design that maximizes the internal lumen, facilitating better flow.
Anti-Clog Technology: Equipped with an ULTRA* anti-clog bolus at the distal tip. The exit port is specifically designed to be larger than the tube's internal diameter, preventing the accumulation of formula and debris.
Stylet Assistance: Includes a braided stainless steel stylet that provides the necessary rigidity for easy insertion. It is a "flow-through" style, allowing for air insufflation or pH testing while the wire is still in place.
Lubricated Tip: Many models in this series feature a water-activated lubricant on the tip and internal lumen to reduce friction during insertion and stylet removal.
Placement Markings: Features centimeter markings starting from the tip to help the care team monitor for tube migration and verify accurate depth.
