Description
This model is a 10 French, 43-inch (109 cm) tube. this series is specifically designed for adult patients who require a non-weighted tip but benefit from the added rigidity of a stylet for precise placement.
Key Features
Non-Weighted (Clear) Tip: Features a smooth, clear distal bolus without a tungsten weight. This is often the preferred choice for gastric placement to enhance patient comfort and simplify the insertion process.
Integrated Flow-Through Stylet: Comes with a braided stainless steel stylet to provide structural support during insertion. The "flow-through" feature allows clinicians to check pH or perform air insufflation without removing the wire first.
ENFit Safety Connector: Equipped with the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube can only connect to enteral-specific administration sets and syringes, eliminating the risk of accidental connection to IV lines.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Made from medical-grade polyurethane, which is stronger and more kink-resistant than silicone. This allows for a larger internal lumen relative to the 10 Fr outside diameter, maximizing flow rates.
Anti-Clog Technology: Includes the ULTRA* anti-clog bolus at the tip. The exit port is slightly larger than the tube's internal diameter, preventing formula and medication from building up and causing blockages.
Radiopaque Accuracy: The tube is fully radiopaque for clear visualization on X-rays. Centimeter markings along the length of the tube allow for easy monitoring of tube depth and migration.
