Description
This model is a 10 French, 43-inch (109 cm) tube. It features a 3-gram tungsten weight and is equipped with the ENFit safety connector. Sterile Packaging: This kit is sterilized, allowing it to be used in the Operating Room (OR) or for immunocompromised patients where sterile technique is mandated to minimize infection risk.
3-Gram Weighted Tip: Features a tungsten-weighted bolus to assist in maintaining the tube's position within the stomach and to help with natural migration toward the pylorus.
Integrated Flow-Through Stylet: Includes a braided stainless steel stylet to provide the necessary rigidity for controlled placement. The "flow-through" design allows clinicians to check pH or perform air insufflation without removing the wire first.
ENFit Safety Connector: Equipped with the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube can only connect to enteral-specific administration sets and syringes, eliminating the risk of accidental connection to IV lines.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Constructed from medical-grade polyurethane, which is stronger and more kink-resistant than silicone. This allows for thinner walls and a larger internal lumen, facilitating better flow rates for the 10 Fr size.
Anti-Clog Technology: Features the ULTRA* anti-clog bolus tip. The exit port is designed to be slightly larger than the internal diameter of the tube to prevent formula or medication solids from occluding the tip.
