3-Gram Weighted Tip: The tungsten bolus provides a "pendulum" effect that helps the tube navigate the nasal passage and esophagus, eventually helping it sit securely in the gastric basin.
Integrated Flow-Through Stylet: Includes a braided stainless steel stylet for necessary rigidity during insertion. The "flow-through" feature is critical for clinicians to aspirate gastric contents or perform air insufflation to check placement without removing the wire.
ENFit Safety Connector: Features the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube can only be connected to enteral-specific administration sets and syringes, eliminating the risk of accidental connection to IV lines or other systems.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger and more durable than silicone or PVC, allowing for thinner walls and a larger internal lumen. This maximizes the flow of formula and medications through an 8 Fr tube.
