8 French Diameter: Provides a slightly larger internal lumen than the 6 Fr models, allowing for easier administration of thicker pediatric formulas and crushed medications while still being appropriately sized for pediatric anatomy.
Non-Weighted (Clear) Tip: The absence of a tungsten weight reduces the physical bulk of the tip, enhancing comfort for the patient and allowing for a "clear" view through the distal bolus.
Integrated Flow-Through Stylet: Features a braided stainless steel stylet for added rigidity during the insertion process. The "flow-through" design is a clinical advantage, allowing for pH aspiration or air insufflation while the stylet is still in place.
ENFit Safety Connector: Equipped with the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube is only compatible with enteral syringes and sets, preventing dangerous accidental connections to IV lines or respiratory equipment.
