Description
This is the largest standard bore size in the 43-inch adult series. It is a non-weighted (clear tip) tube that includes an integrated stylet and utilizes the ENFit safety connector. Its larger diameter makes it the preferred choice for patients requiring high-viscosity formulas or complex medication regimens that might clog smaller 8 Fr or 10 Fr tubes.

12 French Large Bore: The wider internal diameter is specifically designed to facilitate the flow of thick formulas and prevent occlusions when administering multiple crushed medications.
Non-Weighted (Clear) Tip: The absence of a tungsten weight makes the tube lighter and more comfortable for long-term gastric placement. The clear distal bolus allows for easy visual inspection of the tip.
Integrated Flow-Through Stylet: Includes a braided stainless steel stylet for structural support during insertion. The "flow-through" feature allows clinicians to aspirate gastric contents or perform air insufflation to verify placement while the stylet remains in place.
ENFit Safety Connector: Equipped with the purple ISO-standard connector. This design is engineered to prevent accidental misconnections between enteral systems and non-enteral systems like IV lines or respiratory equipment.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger and more durable than silicone, this material allows for thinner walls and a larger internal lumen. This maximizes flow efficiency for the 12 Fr size.
Anti-Clog Technology: Features the ULTRA* anti-clog bolus tip. The exit port is designed to be slightly larger than the internal diameter of the tube to prevent the accumulation of formula and medication solids.
