8 French Small-Bore Diameter: The smallest standard adult diameter, specifically chosen to maximize patient comfort and reduce the risk of nasal mucosal irritation or breakdown during long-term use.
10-Gram Tungsten Weight: Features the heaviest standard distal weight. This utilizes gravity and natural gastric motility (peristalsis) to help the tube "self-migrate" or be guided through the pylorus and into the duodenum or jejunum.
43-Inch (109 cm) Adult Length: The clinical standard length required to reach the small bowel in an average adult patient.
Integrated Insertion Stylet: Includes a pre-inserted stainless steel guide wire. Because 8 Fr polyurethane is highly flexible, the stylet is critical for providing the "pushability" needed for accurate bedside insertion.
