Key Features
Tungsten-Weighted Tip: Uses non-toxic tungsten weights to help the tube "sink" toward the pylorus. This is particularly helpful for bedside clinicians attempting to place a tube into the duodenum or jejunum without fluoroscopic guidance.
Anti-Clog Technology: The distal bolus is engineered so the exit port is slightly larger than the internal diameter of the tube. This prevents thick formula or medications from becoming trapped at the very end of the tube.
Polyurethane Durability: Polyurethane is stronger than silicone, allowing for a larger internal lumen in the 10 Fr size. This provides excellent flow rates and prevents the tube from collapsing during gastric aspiration.
Flow-Through Stylet: The stainless steel stylet allows for flushing and aspiration while the wire is still in place, simplifying the process of checking gastric pH or tube patency during insertion.
