Weighted Tip Stability: The 3-gram tungsten weight helps keep the tube tip at the base of the stomach, reducing the risk of the tube coiling or migrating back into the esophagus—a common issue in active pediatric patients.
Anti-Clog Design: The "Ultra" bolus tip is designed so the exit port is slightly larger than the internal diameter of the tube. This minimizes the risk of the tube becoming blocked by thick nutritional formulas or medication residue.
