Description
This model is part of the 20-series, meaning it is Styleted (includes an insertion guide wire) and Non-Sterile. At 5 French and 36 inches, this is a specialized pediatric/neonatal tube designed for longer-term gastric access in infants or small children who require a longer reach than the standard neonatal 15-inch or 22-inch tubes.

5 French Ultra-Thin Bore: Designed for the smallest patients (neonates and infants) to minimize nasal irritation and maintain airway patency while providing a reliable route for nutrition.
Integrated Insertion Stylet: Includes a pre-inserted stainless steel guide wire. Because 5 Fr polyurethane is very flexible, the stylet is necessary to provide the "pushability" required for accurate placement. It is removed once the tube is in the correct position.
Extended 36-inch Length: While most 5 Fr tubes are short (15–22 in.), this 36-inch version is used for larger pediatric patients who still require a very small diameter tube or for specific clinical configurations where extra external length is needed.
ENFit Safety Connector: Equipped with the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube is incompatible with IV equipment, preventing potentially fatal tubing misconnections in high-acuity neonatal and pediatric environments.
Non-Weighted (Clear) Tip: The tube is non-weighted to ensure maximum patient comfort and to prevent pressure on the delicate gastric mucosa of an infant.
