Key Features
20 French Large-Bore Diameter: The preferred size for long-term adult gastric access. The large diameter allows for the easy administration of high-viscosity formulas and a wide variety of medications without the risk of the tube becoming obstructed.
Ring Retention Bumper: Features a circular "ring" style internal bumper. This design provides superior internal fixation compared to conical bumpers, making it an excellent choice for patients at high risk of accidental tube dislodgement.
PULL Placement Method: Designed for the standard endoscopic "Pull" technique. A looped wire is passed through the abdominal wall and out the mouth; the tube is then attached and pulled down through the esophagus into the stomach.
ENFit® Safety Connector: Includes the purple ISO-standard ENFit® adapter, ensuring the tube is only compatible with enteral feeding sets and syringes to prevent life-threatening misconnections with IV lines.
Polyurethane Construction: Medical-grade polyurethane is stronger and more durable than silicone, resisting degradation from gastric acid and bacterial colonization. This allows for thinner walls and a larger internal lumen relative to the 20 Fr outer diameter.
Radiopaque for Placement Verification: The tube features a radiopaque stripe and a fully opaque internal bumper, ensuring clear visibility under X-ray or fluoroscopy for position confirmation.
Complete Placement Kit: A sterile, single-use kit containing all necessary components, including the placement wire, Seldinger needles, scalpel, local anesthetic (Lidocaine), and antiseptic swabs.
