Description

Inadvertent Removal Prevention: Specifically designed to decrease the frequency of "pull-outs" by patients, which reduces the need for repeated, painful re-insertions and ensures consistent delivery of nutrition or medication.
Magnetic Retrieval System: The system uses two catheters (one yellow, one white) with magnets at the tips. When inserted into the nostrils, the magnets connect behind the soft palate (vomer bone) to loop a biocompatible polyester umbilical tape around the nasal septum.
Slot-Slide-Lock (SSL) Clamp: A unique securement clip that attaches the umbilical tape to the feeding tube. The 26-008 features a Blue clamp, which is the color-coded indicator for the 8 Fr size.
Safe for Long-Term Use: The system is intended for adult patients and can remain in place for up to 4 weeks.
Biocompatibility: Uses long-lasting polyester umbilical tape that is designed to be gentle on the sensitive nasal mucosa.
