Description

10 French Diameter: A versatile, mid-bore size. It is small enough to maintain patient comfort during nasal insertion but large enough to permit the delivery of standard enteral formulas and liquid medications with a lower risk of clogging compared to 8 Fr tubes.
3-Gram Tungsten Weight: The weighted distal tip helps facilitate the initial passage into the stomach and utilizes gravity to keep the tube from "looping" or migrating back up the esophagus.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger and more acid-resistant than silicone. This material allows for thinner walls, which maximizes the internal flow rate while keeping the external diameter slim.
C-19* Water-Activated Lubricant: The internal lumen is pre-coated with lubricant that becomes active when wet. This ensures that the placement stylet can be removed smoothly without pulling the tube out of position.
