Description

12 French "Standard" Diameter: The larger lumen size significantly reduces the risk of clogging, especially when administering crushed medications or high-fiber formulas. It is the preferred size for most adult gastric feeding applications.
Non-Weighted (Bolus) Tip: The plain tip is lighter and more flexible than weighted versions. This can be advantageous for patients where a weighted tip might cause discomfort or is otherwise unnecessary for gastric placement.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane Construction: This material allows for a larger internal diameter than silicone tubes of the same external size. It is biocompatible, resists the corrosive effects of gastric acid, and provides excellent durability.
C-19* Water-Activated Lubricant: The internal lumen is pre-coated with lubricant. When water is flushed through the tube during insertion, it becomes highly slippery, ensuring the placement stylet can be removed smoothly without displacing the tube.
Universal/ANTI-IV* Connector: This tube features the standard clear/white connector.
Note: For facilities using the purple safety standard, the ENFit® equivalent is the 40-0922.
Centimeter Markings: Clearly printed indicators allow for precise monitoring of the tube's position and help in detecting accidental migration or "pistoning."
