6 French "Pediatric-Bore" Diameter: The ultra-slim profile is designed for the narrow nasal passages of infants and small children, maximizing comfort and reducing the risk of tissue irritation.
22-Inch (55 cm) Length: Specifically sized for gastric placement in pediatric patients. This shorter length prevents excess tubing from hanging outside the patient, which reduces the risk of accidental pulling or snagging.
Non-Weighted (Bolus) Tip: A lightweight, plain tip is preferred for pediatric gastric feeding as it is less likely to cause mucosal irritation in smaller stomachs compared to weighted versions.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: This material is superior to silicone for small-bore tubes. It is stronger and more resistant to gastric acid, allowing for a larger internal lumen (ID) despite the very small external diameter.
