10 French "Standard Comfort" Size: This diameter is widely used for adult patients because it provides a reliable flow for a variety of formulas while remaining comfortable enough for the patient during the insertion process and throughout its stay.
Non-Weighted (Bolus) Tip: Lighter and more flexible than weighted alternatives. It is designed for direct placement into the stomach (gastric), where the weight for intestinal migration is not required.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Unlike silicone, this polyurethane resists gastric acid and maintains its shape without "stretching." The material's strength allows for thinner walls and a larger internal lumen, maximizing the volume of formula that can be delivered.
C-19* Water-Activated Lubricant: The internal lumen is pre-coated with lubricant. When hydrated with water or saline, it becomes highly slippery, allowing the placement stylet to be removed effortlessly without pulling the tube out of position.
Radiopaque Stripe: The entire tube is visible under X-ray, which is the standard of care for confirming that the tip is correctly positioned in the stomach before initiating feeding.
