Key Features
CORTRAK* 2 Technology: The stylet contains an electromagnetic transmitting coil. When used with the CORTRAK monitor, clinicians can visualize the tube’s path on-screen in real-time. This helps confirm gastric placement and reduces the risk of accidental lung placement, potentially reducing the need for confirmatory X-rays.
Non-Weighted (Clear) Tip: preferred for gastric placement to maximize patient comfort. The clear tip allows for easy visual inspection of the distal end during maintenance.
ENFit Safety Connector: Features the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube only connects to enteral-specific administration sets and syringes, eliminating the risk of dangerous misconnections with IV or respiratory lines.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger than silicone, this medical-grade material allows for a larger internal lumen relative to its 8 Fr size. This maximizes flow and helps prevent clogging from formulas or medications.
Anti-Clog Technology: Includes the ULTRA* anti-clog bolus tip, where the exit port is slightly larger than the tube's internal diameter to prevent solids from accumulating.
