Description

Key Features
CORTRAK* 2 Navigation: The stylet contains an electromagnetic coil at the tip. When paired with the CORTRAK monitor, it provides a real-time visual "map" of the tube’s location as it passes into the stomach. This allows for immediate bedside confirmation of placement and helps prevent accidental insertion into the lungs.
Sterile Packaging: Unlike the more common 40-series (which is "clean" but non-sterile), this tube is sterile. This is preferred for patients who are immunocompromised or for use in the operating room.
10 French Mid-Bore: Offers a versatile diameter that is wide enough to prevent clogs from standard formulas and most medications while remaining small enough for patient comfort during insertion.
Non-Weighted (Clear) Tip: This tube is non-weighted. The tracking technology removes the need for a tungsten weight to guide the tube, resulting in a lighter, more flexible tube for the patient.
ENFit Safety Connector: Features the purple ISO-standard connector. This ensures the tube only connects to enteral syringes and administration sets, eliminating the risk of dangerous misconnections with IV lines.
