Description

Electromagnetic Sensing: The SRU contains sensors that detect the electromagnetic signal emitted by the stylet inside a compatible CORTRAK* feeding tube. It translates this signal into the visual track seen on the monitor.
Anatomical Landmark Mapping: During setup, the SRU is placed on the patient’s xiphoid process. It serves as the anatomical "zero point," allowing the system to map the tube's location relative to the patient’s stomach and lungs.
Motion Compensation: The unit is designed to remain stable on the patient's chest, ensuring that if the patient shifts slightly, the coordinate system for the tube tracking remains accurate.
Interconnect Compatibility: It features a dedicated connection cable that plugs directly into the 20-0950 CORTRAK* 2 Monitor.
Portable and Lightweight: Designed to be easily moved between patient rooms, the SRU is small enough to be placed on the bedside without interfering with other life-support equipment.
