8 French "Small-Bore" Diameter: Provides the highest level of patient comfort and reduces the risk of long-term complications like nasal pressure sores or sinusitis.
Non-Weighted (Bolus) Tip: Lighter and less bulky than weighted versions. Because it is intended for the stomach (gastric placement), the gravity-assist of a tungsten weight is often deemed unnecessary by clinicians.
ULTRA-LITE* Polyurethane: Stronger and more durable than silicone. This allows the 8 Fr tube to have a surprisingly large internal lumen, though extra care should still be taken when administering crushed medications to prevent clogs in this smaller size.
C-19* Water-Activated Lubricant: The internal lumen is pre-lubricated. Once flushed with water or saline, the placement stylet slides out effortlessly, which is critical for preventing the tube from being pulled out of position during stylet removal.
Universal Connector: Features the standard clear/white "Christmas tree" style connector.
