the Avanos EBL20150SG is an ECHOBRIGHT Single-Shot Non-Stimulating Needle*. This is the longest standard version in the EchoBright line, specifically engineered for reaching very deep nerve structures under ultrasound guidance.
The "SG" designation stands for Single-shot/Non-stimulating, meaning it is designed for clinicians who rely on ultrasound visualization alone and do not require electrical nerve stimulation.

Maximum Ultrasound Visibility: For a 150 mm needle, maintaining visibility is a major challenge. The EchoBright laser-etching reflects ultrasound waves back to the probe across the entire shaft, ensuring the clinician can see the tip even at the very steep angles required for deep blocks.
