Features of the Endo Universal 65° Devices Single Use Stapler: The ENDO UNIVERSAL™ 65° 12 mm stapler has application in endoscopic general surgery procedures for fixation of mesh in the repair of hernial defects and in other surgical specialties for approximation of tissue(s).
The ENDO UNIVERSAL™ 65° stapler is designed for introduction and use through all appropriately sized trocar sleeves, or larger sized trocar sleeves with the use of a converter.
The stapler places one staple each time the handle of the instrument is squeezed.
The size of the staple is determined by the selection of the 4 mm or 4.8 mm ENDO HERNIA™ single use loading unit (SULU).
The staple legs first penetrate the tissue or mesh and then fully form, thus anchoring or approximating the tissue(s) and mesh.
