Description

Ultra-Soft Silicone: Silicone is the softest material available for feeding tubes. Unlike polyurethane, which requires body heat to soften, silicone is flexible immediately upon insertion. This helps reduce the risk of tissue trauma and "nipple aversion" in developing neonates.
ENFit® Safety Hub: Features a purple, threaded ISO 80369-3 compliant connector. This ensures a secure, leak-proof lock and prevents accidental connection to IV lines or other non-enteral systems.
Aseptic Hub Design: The hub features an "open" or "bottomless" design that eliminates hidden reservoirs where breast milk or formula could pool and foster bacterial growth.
Anti-Colonization Distal Tip: The tip is open-ended with three offset side ports. These ports are precision-drilled (not cut) to ensure smooth edges that won't irritate the stomach lining and to minimize the "hidden cavities" found in closed-tip tubes.
Radiopaque Visibility: A semi-encapsulated orange stripe runs the entire 90 cm length, ensuring the tube is clearly visible under X-ray for placement verification.
