Technical Description
The 0210-26 is a transgastric-jejunal tube. It is placed through a gastric stoma; the internal balloon holds the tube in the stomach, while a long, weighted tail extends through the pylorus into the jejunum.
Outer Diameter: 26 Fr (8-7mm)
Jejunal Length: 57.9 cm (Standard long tail)
Balloon Volume: 7–10 ml
Material: 100% Medical-grade silicone
Tip Type: Tungsten-weighted distal tip
Sterility: Gamma sterilized, single-use
Key Features
Dual-Port Functionality: The hub features separate, clearly labeled ports for the stomach (Gastric) and the small intestine (Jejunal). This allows for the removal of excess gas or secretions from the stomach while simultaneously providing nutrition past the stomach.
Maximum-Bore Diameter: The 26 Fr size is one of the largest available, making it the ideal choice for patients requiring very thick formulas or those who have had repeated issues with smaller tubes clogging.
Tungsten-Weighted Tip: The 57.9 cm jejunal segment is weighted with tungsten to assist in initial placement and to help the tube maintain its position in the small intestine via natural peristalsis.
SECUR-LOK Retention Ring:* An external bolster that secures the tube at the skin. It is designed to be slightly elevated to allow air circulation around the stoma, which is critical for skin health.
Multiple Exit Ports: The distal feeding segment features multiple exit holes to optimize flow and ensure delivery even if one port becomes slightly obstructed.
Atraumatic Design: Constructed from soft, biocompatible silicone with a tapered tip to minimize tissue trauma during insertion and daily use.
