Technical Description
The 0210-28 is a dual-lumen silicone tube. It is characterized by its large bore and long, weighted jejunal tail, which allows it to span from an abdominal stoma through the stomach and into the small intestine.
Outer Diameter: 28 Fr (9.3 mm)
Jejunal Length: 57.9 cm
Balloon Volume: 7–10 ml
Material: 100% Medical-grade silicone
Tip Type: Tungsten-weighted distal tip
Sterility: Gamma sterilized, single-use
Compatibility: Non-ENFit (Universal catheter-tip/luer-slip)
Key Features
Maximum Flow Capacity: The 28 Fr diameter provides the widest internal lumens in the GE line. This is the optimal choice for patients requiring very thick (blenderized) formulas or those with high-volume gastric drainage needs.
Dual-Port Hub: Features two distinct access ports:
Gastric Port: For decompression, venting, or drainage of the stomach.
Jejunal Port: For direct feeding into the small intestine.
Position Retention: The tungsten-weighted tip uses gravity and natural bowel movement to help the 57.9 cm tail stay distal to the pylorus, preventing the tube from migrating back into the stomach.
SECUR-LOK Retention Ring:* An external bolster that secures the tube at the skin. It includes a ventilated base that keeps the ring slightly off the skin to allow air circulation, which is vital for preventing stoma site infections.
Radiopaque Markings: The jejunal portion is designed to be highly visible under X-ray, allowing for quick confirmation of placement during and after the procedure.
Medical-Grade Silicone: The tube is soft and flexible, designed to be biocompatible for long-term use (typically replaced every 3–6 months
