Description

Active Ingredient: Contains 2.5% glutaraldehyde.
Long Reuse Life: Once activated, the solution can be used and reused for up to 28 days, provided the minimum effective concentration (MEC) is maintained (which is verified using test strips).
Activation Required: This is a two-component solution. It is "activated" by adding a separate activator vial (included with the bottle) to the main solution, which typically turns the liquid a bluish-green color.
Broad-Spectrum Efficacy: It is a powerful biocide that is effective against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
Dual-Purpose: It can be used as both a high-level disinfectant and a sterilant depending on the soak time.
- High-Level Disinfection: Typically achieved in 90 minutes at 20°C (68°F).
- Sterilization: Achieved after a longer immersion, typically 10 hours at 25°C (77°F).
Built-in Surfactant: Contains a surfactant (a detergent) that helps to clean and penetrate bioburden, as well as a rust-inhibitor to reduce corrosion on metal instruments.
No Dilution Needed: It is designed to be used at full strength after activation.
