Tubes are not manufactured with DEHP plasticizers
Flanges are also labeled different colours for each size. This increases patient safety by creating an easy identifier to match tubes with inner cannula
Flange is soft and clear with laser printed numbers that cannot be altered by secretions or cleaning
Thermosensitive Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) tubes provides sufficient rigidity for initial insertion, and then softens at body temperature to accommodate individual patient anatomy
Tube material is radio-opaque to enable confirmation of tube positon under x-ray
Built in 15 mm ISO connector for ventilation circuit connection with or without an inner cannula in place
Obturator provides rigidity for tube insertion. Rounded obturator tip for insertion with minimal trauma
Special Clip design minimizes obturator tip movement during tube insertion
