Phases 1 & 2: Pre-filters
These two layers (large and medium particle) capture visible dust, pet dander, pollen, and mold spores, which protects the more advanced inner filters.
Phases 3-6: Four-Part Granular Defense Combo
This is what truly sets the Immunity Filter apart. It contains a 15-lb. blend of four different granular media to adsorb the widest possible range of gaseous pollutants.
Activated Carbon: Targets common household odors, smoke, and chemicals.
Impregnated Carbon: Specially treated to be more effective against specific chemicals like formaldehyde.
Zeolite: Adsorbs gases like ammonia and nitrogen dioxide.
Impregnated Zeolite: Enhanced to broaden the range of chemical adsorption even further.
Phase 7: Medical-Grade HEPA
This is the primary particle-capturing layer. It removes 99.97% of airborne particles 0.3 microns and larger, and 99% of particles as small as 0.1 microns, including viruses, bacteria, and microplastics.
Phase 8: Military-Grade HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Adsorption) Cloth
This is the final stage. It is a carbon cloth originally designed for military use against chemical warfare agents. It is highly effective at capturing and neutralizing the most volatile chemical vapors, viruses, and bacteria.
Another key feature is its 5-year pro-rated filter life under normal residential use, which is exceptionally long for a filter this complex.
