This low-profile "button" device is one of the most frequently prescribed sizes for both older children and adults. The 16 French diameter is a standard "mid-range" size that accommodates most enteral formulas easily, while the 1.5 cm stoma length is the most common standard fit for patients with a typical abdominal wall thickness.
