The LabStrong 410671LS Gasket 4 Pack is comparable to the Thermo Fisher Scientific Barnstead 410671 Mega-Pure Gasket 4 Pack. The gaskets are designed for use in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Barnstead Mega-Pure Single (D1) and Dual (D2) Cartridge Deionizer Systems and the MP-12A Glass Stills. The economical and reliable gaskets provide outstanding quality.
The LabStrong Mega-Pure Gaskets are designed to seal the space between the cartridge and the cartridge holder of the water purification system. The rubber gasket is designed to prevent leakage between these connections. Overtime, the gaskets in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Barnstead Mega-Pure Single (D1) and Dual (D2) Cartridge Deionizer Systems and the MP-12A Glass Stills wear and eventually fail.
When the gaskets fail, the water purification systems can leak water. To prevent this from occurring, LabStrong recommends changing the gaskets when the cartridges in these water purification systems are replaced. When replacing the gaskets, place the gaskets flat in the upper and lower recesses in the cartridge holder.
