Trimmable Distal Tip: The 60 cm distal segment is designed to be trimmed by the clinician during the placement procedure. This ensures that the tip is positioned at the optimal depth within the jejunum for each patient's specific anatomy.
Tungsten-Weighted Tip: To prevent "retrograde migration" (the tube moving backward from the intestine into the stomach), the distal tip is weighted with tungsten to assist natural peristalsis in keeping the tube in place.
