Description
The Avanos 0301-50 is a MIC* Jejunostomy Repair Kit. Unlike the previous model (0301-14), which is the feeding tube itself, this kit is an accessory designed to extend the life of an existing MIC* surgical jejunostomy tube.
It allows clinicians to repair the external portion of the tube—specifically the feeding port and connector—if they become damaged, cracked, or clogged, without requiring a complete surgical tube replacement.
Key Features
Targeted Repair: Specifically designed for use with the MIC* 14 French Jejunostomy Feeding Tube.
Medical-Grade Silicone: Components are made from the same biocompatible silicone as the original tube to ensure a secure and leak-proof seal.
Cost-Effective Maintenance: Provides a way to fix the external connection points of a surgically placed tube, avoiding the trauma and expense of a repeat surgical procedure.
Comprehensive Components: Includes all necessary materials to replace the external Luer-Lok interface and secure it to the existing tube body.
Kit Contents
1 x Silicone Med A (Medical Adhesive): Used to bond the new connector to the existing silicone tube.
1 x Silicone Overcollar: Slides over the repair joint to provide structural reinforcement.
1 x New Jejunostomy Connector (Stent/Hub): Replaces the damaged feeding port.
1 x Syringe & Blunt Tip Needle: For precise application of the medical adhesive.
1 x Suture: To assist in securing the overcollar if necessary.
