Description

The Avanos 0124-12 is a MIC-KEY* Bolus Extension Set. Unlike the previous items, which were primary feeding tubes, this is an extension set designed specifically for use with MIC-KEY* Low-Profile Gastrostomy, Jejunal, and Transgastric-Jejunal feeding tubes (the "button" style tubes).

This set is designed for bolus feeding, which allows for the rapid delivery of formula or medication using a catheter-tip syringe.

  • 12-Inch Tubing: A standard length that provides enough distance for comfortable feeding while remaining manageable for active users.

  • SECUR-LOK* Right-Angle Connector: The connector that attaches to the MIC-KEY* button is set at a 90-degree angle. This "low-profile" orientation allows the tubing to lie flat against the patient's body, reducing the risk of the tube getting caught on clothing.
