The 0143-12 is an Avanos MIC-KEY* Bolus Feed Extension Set.
It is designed for "bolus" feeding (delivering a large volume of formula in a short amount of time), but it features a right-angle connector. This is a common choice for patients who want the benefit of high-flow bolus tubing but prefer the tubing to lie flat against their skin for comfort and discretion.

Usage and Maintenance

Hygiene: Should be flushed with water after every use. The larger diameter is helpful for cleaning, but the right-angle joint requires careful rinsing to ensure no formula is trapped in the bend.
Replacement Cycle: These sets are generally discarded and replaced with a new one every 30 days.
