The Avanos 0270-16-1.2-30 is a MIC-KEY* Low-Profile Gastric-Jejunal (G-J) Feeding Tube Kit. This specialized device is used for patients who require gastric decompression (venting the stomach) while simultaneously receiving nutrition directly into the small intestine (jejunum).

This configuration features a 16 French diameter, a 1.2 cm stoma length, and a 30 cm jejunal length. The 30 cm jejunal segment is the longest standard length available for the 16 Fr series, making it ideal for taller pediatric patients or adults where the tip needs to reach further into the small bowel.

  • Dual-Port Access: The low-profile "button" head has two distinct ports. The Gastric port is used to vent air or drain fluid from the stomach to relieve pressure, while the Jejunal port allows for feeding directly into the small intestine.
