the 8270-16-1.2-30 is an Avanos MIC-KEY Gastric-Jejunal (G-J) Low-Profile Feeding Tube**.

This is a "button-style" replacement tube used for patients who require simultaneous gastric venting (decompression) and jejunal feeding. While identical in diameter and stoma length to the previous model we discussed, this version features a longer jejunal tail.

Dimensional Breakdown

  • 16: The tube has a 16 French outer diameter.

  • 1.2: The gastric stoma length (the thickness of the abdominal wall it is designed for) is 1.2 cm.

  • 30: The jejunal (distal) length is 30 cm, measured from the gastric balloon to the tip.
